Airports of Uzbekistan

Tashkent Airport
Tashkent airport is the biggest and busiest airport in Uzbekistan, receiving all major international flights from Western Europe, Russia, America and Asia. It is the 2nd ICAO category airport, and is able to receive all types of aircraft.

Samarkand Airport
As a major tourist destination in Central Asia, Samarkand receives dozens of thousand of people annually, with its airport serving as an important gateway to provide easy and quick access to Samarkand from Tashkent, as well as several destinations abroad, such as Moscow.

Bukhara airport
In 1999 Bukhara Airport received the status of an international airport. Bukhara attracts thousands of tourists, and is a major transportation hub on the ancient Silk Road. Even though the airport is not big (service load around 150 people per hour), it is equipped with all modern amenities such as departure and arrival lounges, shops, canteens, medical facility, and lockers.

Urgench Airport
Urgench is the capital of Khorezm province, and its airport services thousands of locals and foreign tourists who wish to visit Khiva, the ancient capital of the Khorezmian Kingdom.
