Bukhara airport In 1999 Bukhara Airport received the status of an international airport. Bukhara attracts thousands of tourists, and is a major transportation hub on the ancient Silk Road. Even though the airport is not big (service load around 150 people per hour), it is equipped with all modern amenities such as departure and arrival lounges, shops, canteens, medical facility, and lockers. Urgench Airport Urgench is the capital of Khorezm province, and its airport services thousands of locals and foreign tourists who wish to visit Khiva, the ancient capital of the Khorezmian Kingdom. |
