E-ticketsElectronic tickets were introduced by Uzbek Airways to keep in line with international standards and improve services available to customers and passengers. E-tickets were launched in June 2008, and since then the airlines are improving the functionality. Yet, there are some restrictions in force with regard to the e-tickets, which may be a serious impediment for a foreign citizen willing to come to Uzbekistan. The e-tickets are only valid for certain destinations and can be furnished in selected offices of Uzbekistan Airways only.Another restriction deals with return or change of conditions of the e-ticket - you can only cancel or return the ticket in the office where it was purchased.
